Have you ever wanted to unleash your inner rock star? Last month, we cohosted "Party Like a Rock Star" with the bands, Zaritza and Mark Radcliffe, at Drom. We wanted our event to be so much more than a traditional concert. We wanted our guests to dress up and rock out. We are excited to share the details with you.
Drom is located in the East Village. The concert venue features a large stage equipped with everything you need to set up perfect lighting and special effects.
Party Like a Rock Star began with a performance from our friend, Mark Radcliffe. Mark is a freelance writer by day and a singer-songwriter by night. He released his first album The Sea Before Us in 2010 and his latest single New York is a Subway Ride last year (you can catch one half of Twinspirational in the music video).
Anastasia and her band, Zaritza, performed second. Zaritza's electro-pop/rock music combines modern digital soundscapes with dramatic elements from classical Russian roots.

Of course we also added some Twinspiration to the event. We selected a red, silver, gold and black color palette. We scattered crimson roses, baby's breath and berries with red gems around the room. We framed Rock Star printables from Creative Market and used them as additional table decor.
Guests were immediately greeted with our fabulous Photo Booth. We created a Photo Booth with a gold backdrop from Amazon and silver ROCK STAR balloons from Instaballoons. The food at Drom was delicious. We highly recommend the cheese cigars and the lamb burger.
Archana baked peanut butter cupcakes and shaped them like a guitar. They were the perfect treat to end the party.
Guests sipped on libations from the Rock Star Bar.
Guests were asked to dress as their favorite Rock Star. Ladies sported wigs, leather pants, while the gentlemen wore rock t-shirts, suspenders, skinny ties, leather jackets and rocker sunglasses.
Guests departed with chocolate guitar favors.
